Track and Cross Country
Northshore School District offers two sports seasons for elementary students in grades 3 through 5. Cross Country is held in the fall and Track and Field is held in the spring. Contact your school's coach for team information.
Cross Country: Course distance is roughly one half mile. This activity gets kids moving, allows them to show their sportsmanship and be a part of a team. Practices will begin in early September and meets start the end of September and conclude before October 31.
Track and Field: Learn all about track and filed events, practice good sportsmanship and receive individualized instruction to help develop your skills. Meets are held during the month of May and the season will conclude with a Junior Olympic meet in early June.
The registration fee is $35.00. Free and Reduced Lunch program qualifiers pay $0.00 and there will be no processing fee, and they will not be asked for a credit card number(see below for more information).* Families have two options for registering and paying the fee:
- online with a credit card using Touchbase or
- using the paper registration form paying with cash or check or for free and reduced lunch qualifiers that are unable to access Touchbase
Paying with Credit Card
The fee can be paid through the district's online credit card payment system called Touchbase. It allows parents to access their student's record online using your assigned Touchbase username and password to pay for elementary sports using a Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card.
Touchbase can be accessed through the following URL: https://schoolsales.nsd.org. Please remember that your Touchbase username and password are case sensitive. A $1.95 convenience fee is assessed during Checkout (not for each item purchased). Credit card payments in person or over the phone cannot be accepted. Please contact your school office for additional information and assistance using Touchbase.
Paying with Cash or Check
Families must use a paper registration form when paying the registration fee using cash or check. The paper registration form is available through your elementary school's office or you can download the form (see below), complete and return to the office with your cash or check.
*Reduced Sports Fee
The sports fee for eligible students who have completed the application for free/reduced meals and who have also given consent to release that information will ring up as $0.
