Our library is home to approximately 350 readers. Students have scheduled library times weekly. During this class time, they experience read-aloud books as well as learn library use, information literacy, and digital citizenship. Students also have individual access to the library during lunch recess on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or with a pass from their teacher. Books are checked out for 1-2 weeks and can be renewed. The library collection is funded by a district allocated budget and the school book fair. The program is run by a certified teacher-librarian with much assistance from a group of dedicated parent volunteers!
